ABOUT THE RUN:
- You can arrive at the Run from Thursday afternoon, Aug. 18 onwards. We will be leaving the site by noon, Thursday, Aug. 25.
- Food and beverages for the week are included.(Bring your own alcohol.)
- Meals (brunch and supper) are provided, with scrounging food for other times. Meals are communally made. There’ll be sign up sheets to help with meals and clean-ups.
- The camp site has 3 large sleeping cabins (16 beds, sleeping up to 24 guys) plus a Cabin 4 (a cabin set aside for play and scenes).
- You can sleep in a cabin (bed and bedding provided) or set up a tent. The cabins have indoor toilets, showers, propane lights and appliances.
- The camp is about an hour north of Sudbury (40 minutes up the highway, then 20 minutes down a lumbering road).
- Our camp site is within a commercial camping lodge with family camping, but we’re housed in our own separate area, isolated by a wooded ridge from the muggle camping area. The roads from the Main Camp to ours are signed off for our own use. Other than very loud yelling, it’s essentially completely private.
- Being separated from the rest of the camp, and with a bay of the lake to ourselves, our camp is clothing optional and nude swimming friendly. If you go from our area back to the main camp, you must be properly clothed and politely behaved. This is a great site, and we don’t want to offend the owners or guests, who may not be in the same head space we are.
- There is no cell phone service at the camp site. However, the main camp has a radio phone that can be used to contact the outside world, or for the outside world to contact you if something important comes up.
- There is no electricity in the camp. For anyone needing electricity for C-pap machines, etc. we have two car batteries and inverters available. Each gives one night of C-pap power. They can be re-charged by hooking them to an idling vehicle for 45 minutes every morning. Available on a first come basis.
- There is a general store and gas station at the highway turn-off, if you forget something that’s worth a 20 minute drive back for – but pretty much everything you need for the weekend is provided for.
ACTIVITIES:
- The week/weekend is yours to do what you want with. Relax and socialize around the campfire, or explore your more adventurous side – the choice is yours.
- There are a few organized events, but overall it’s a casual, do-what-you’re-in-the-mood-for time, with interesting guys, and time and space to play.
- The Mr. Northern Ontario Bear contest – our first ever -- will be held Saturday night. Join in the fun, or take the leap and put yourself up on stage to celebrate the many aspects of your “bearness”!
- There will be a “Cabin 4” set up for play and exploration. This is a play cabin with various equipment (bunkbeds, sling, St. Andrew’s cross, etc.) and loaner gear that’s available most hours of the night and day for using as you will.
- For your own safety, a D.M. (“Dungeon Master”) oversees the cabin. The D.M. is an experienced BDSM’er, who is available for advice and keeps an eye out for any unnoticed dangers that may need to be dealt with.
- There will also be an exploritorium, where novices can watch, then try new things. Watch, discuss, and try out under friendly supervision things you may only have heard about.!
